Musical Beginnings: Lessons 1-24 for ages 0-2
Musical Beginnings: Lessons 1–24 — Ages 0–2
Give your little one a joyful first introduction to music with Musical Beginnings, a 24-lesson parent-guided music program created especially for babies and toddlers ages birth to two.
Each lesson includes a 10-minute Musical Journey audio experience filled with songs, classical music, listening activities, nursery songs, movement prompts, and opportunities for you and your child to participate together. You will also receive a printable, low-ink Parent Guide that explains the lesson’s musical concept and gives you simple ideas for singing, moving, listening, and playing along with your child.
At this age, children learn through listening, repetition, movement, play, and—most importantly—interaction with the people they love.
Each Musical Beginnings lesson gives you an easy, engaging way to explore music together at home, even if you have no musical experience yourself.
Across 24 carefully designed lessons, your child will begin experiencing important musical ideas such as beat, rhythm, melody, high and low sounds, loud and soft sounds, fast and slow music, instruments of the orchestra, movement, clapping and tapping, call and response, dynamics, and much more. The goal is not to “teach” a baby music in a formal way, but to surround your child with rich musical experiences that encourage listening, participation, curiosity, and connection.
The lessons are designed to be relaxed and flexible. You can sit and cuddle while you listen, bounce your baby to the beat, clap together, dance around the room, sing along, or simply let your child hear and absorb the music. There is no right or wrong way to participate, and lessons can be enjoyed again and again as your child grows.
Your purchase includes the complete 24-lesson Musical Beginnings collection for ages 0–2, with each lesson packaged individually so you can progress through the series at your own pace.
